The Biggest Youth Event in 2022

9th-14th August 2022

The IYS is a faith-based biannual youth conference of the Church of God Mission International. With nearly over 10,000 youths in attendance, the IYS stands as the largest conference of young people in Africa, and is renowned for its spiritual impartation and personal & professional development of young people.
The theme for this year’s summit is “Transcend” which resonates with the CGMi theme for the year “Anointing for Increase”

The vision for this year’s summit is to create ample opportunities for young people to develop contemporary income generating skills and gain spiritual impartation that will equip them for increase and exceeding current levels of excellence.


Our Ministers

The Archbishop, Bishop FEB and other anointed ministers will be ministering in all the days of the summit (evening general session)


Advantage Sessions

The morning session will be dedicated to Trainings, capacity building and skill acquisition. The focus will be on building relevant skills for the future, helping youths build a career transition planning with the coming wave of the predicted and forecasted future of Jobs 2025/2030 (Cryptocurrency, NFT, Metaverse, Project Management, HSE, Employability & job skills training, And other advance Digital Skills training)

Every participant is entitled to 2 professional certificates at the end of the training

EXHIBITION

This is totally different, it’s similar to a trade fair but this time it is Cyf members that are showcasing. Exhibition will be package to sell our youths who have developed Innovative products and services. Opportunity will be created for pitching to potential investors and business partners. Connecting with possible co-founders and other forms of idea exchange and knowledge sharing

SPORTS

A Mini tournament has been designed with Regional sport coordinators in place to run a weekend sport tournament with about 8 different games (football, volleyball, table tennis, chess, scrabble, treasure hunt, Ludo, track & field), medals will be presented to top 3 positions representing their various regions, bishoprics and zones
